honestly feel like if you don’t use invoices, now would be a good time to start. you have more control over how the payment is described (meaning you can leave the description blank and the customer can’t change it) and you can mark it as non shippable. it’s also much harder to chargeback

i always ignore the weird feeling of this bc i can always say “im so sorry i didn’t respond sooner” and just pick up the convo where it left off.. but of course because of this, i just have a huge log of people i haven’t responded to and forget about / remember and feel awful
