if my kid was never tired at the time i told them to go to bed, i simply wouldn't force them to go to bed at that time

i have 2 kids. i teach them to recognize their tiredness cues and i help them get ready for bed. usually they're also by 7:30, sometimes they go to sleep as late as 8:30. tell me I'm a dipshit

you're free to ask a question about what i think the alternatives are, which a serious person might do before calling somebody stupid

I'm not saying kids don't need sleep, or that it isn't good to have a routine or schedule, or that it's bad to go to bed at the same time every night. you're not listening, you're just telling people they're stupid in a faux polite way (fuck you, btw)
