Well it’s been a busy few months of travel with work. I’ve visited the US, UAE, Poland, and Estonia. I’ve met customers, team mates, and the general public and it’s been a great experience. I’m looking forward to some time at home now though.

Well today was a bit different. First Karate tournament for me and I managed to come away with bronze medals.
Two competitors on a competition standard karate ring coloured red and blue. 2 competitors are in the ring participating in Kumite and points are being awarded by the referee. there are two other rings in the background that are also in use. The three medalists in the 35-44yr old Male 6th to 4th Kyu category.

Well it’s a Costa and train kind of morning. The new bridge is coming along at Darlington too which looks good.
New bridge support at Darlington station for the footbridge under construction. A small Costa coffee cup and a packet containing a pastry. They are on a light coloured wood effect table.

Well it’s been a busy 5 weeks of travel seeing customers and meeting new people.

Well it’s been a busy few weeks but here are some travel pictures from recent trips.
Avanti Pendalino train at a platform of London Euston station Snowy line side railway equipment framed by the oval door window of a class 390 train. The interior of the door is a distinctive grey and white diagonal stripe Snow covered fields with bushes and trees marking the boundaries. All under a grey snow filled sky. An LNER Azuma train at Kings Cross station. The distinctive rectangular windows and iron roof supports are visible behind the train. The train is decorated with the Our Planet livery celebrating that trains emit 7 times less CO2 than driving.

Well it was a long day of travel today. I love that I can travel Middlesbrough to Paris by rail. I think there is something quite exciting about international rail.
