Yesterday, I officially filed for a place on the March 2026 Democratic Primary ballot. I am particularly proud to have submitted 830 signatures in support of my application, which we collected by knocking 1,631 doors and having countless conversations with voters across JP Precinct 1.

I voted no on SB 38 - a pro-eviction bill. Housing insecurity is a public health crisis. This bill would streamline evictions, erode due process, and increase homelessness in a time when rent prices are increasing faster than peoples’ wages.
