Night7 of #31NightsOfHalloween :
The Ring (2002) dir. by Gore Verbinski, starring Naomi Watts. This is a movie I've seen too much of. It's still a well crafted horror plot with great style, vibes, and effects. Watts was at her peak as a Hitchcockian scream girl.

The more I reflect on Sinners, the more of a masterpiece it seems to be. Easily the best movie I've seen all year. Michael B. Jordan is simply amazing as Smoke and Stack, but the script and direction are sublime.

Democrats have to decide if their platform protects trans men and women and children or it it intends to throw them under the bus for the sake of political expediency.

Their voters have the right to decide based on that decision.

Under the Skin (2014) directed by Jonathan Glazer, starring Scarlett Johansson. More Sci Fi than horror, this movie could very easily have been a tight 90 minutes. Instead it meanders. ScarJo offers a vulnerable, brave performance.
