As I emailed the committee weeks ago: I do not feel threatened by trans women in public restrooms (as a cisgender woman). I do feel threatened by the people this law will empower to scrutinize my gender when I enter a public restroom. Bad law 🚮

Republicans in the MT state legislature seem to have forgotten what their purpose is. Every session they pass laws restricting the freedom, privacy and rights of Montanans, which are correctly rejected by courts. It's getting old!
