It's been 20 years, but the memories are still so vivid. I've been consuming the media reports on the fires and it's incredible and devastating. There's focus on celebrity loss, but a lot of those communities had middle-class folk like us who have also lost everything. It's crazy, scary, and real.

Several reporters hard push for the police and mayor to name the victims is incredibly unnecessary. The people with close ties to the school and families already know, do the rest of us need it? Or can they just grieve a little longer without reporters and cameras in their faces?
