Ennis has on occasion wrote amoral main characters but for the most part if he's tries to have a grounded human voice but yeah if you really want to see this play out I recomend the vertigo comics he did about war.

Doing a deep dive into Wizard aka the 90s comic trash magazine that still had effect on our lives this weekend I ended up finding one of the earliest pokemon articles debuting a few months after the show hit it’s kind of fascinating to see how they advertised it
