It really isn't important.
The Daily Express is simply a shit-rag, actually inadequate to wipe your arse with.

Is there something appallingly ironic that both thugs sound as if they've got Latino names?

I share your sentiment but no, he's no real competition for Truss. Nobody is, not even Johnson.

Why are these so-called fraternities even allowed to exist?

I bought a property I don 't remember buying and I don't remember receiving the money to pay for it". Dementia memory-loss right there. And I'm being generous.

Okay, but they're suing the American taxpayer. Trump and his low-belly slimeballs don't pay a penny. Lemon should be able to sue the individual in the Trump admin who issued the arrest warrant.

Trivial but welcome. Should be in jail.

It may have made $1m in his first weekend but will it make any more unless MAGAists pay to watch it multiple times? First week booking office returns is what really matters.

Is it selling better than "Melania"?

No matter what the terms of any putative agreement are it needs to arm itself to the teeth afterwards just like post WWI Germany did.

It's action-movie level PR but this war is absolutely brutal for both sides.

Ukraine is never going to get a fair or reliable peace agreement that won't betray them any less than any of the previous ones but there seems little precious they can do about it.

I'm waiting for Starmer to do his St Peter act on Mandelson.
February 1, 2026 at 6:32 PM
Trump levels of personal psychological and actual corruption and the narcissism to match.

He lies like other people breathe.

He lies so naturally.

Just give it to the Australians already and have done with it.
February 1, 2026 at 6:26 PM
It's her escape fund and be damned the prenuptial clause.
February 1, 2026 at 6:23 PM
What's a player of that calibre doing playing for Spurs? He should be off to Bayern or somewhere like that. I mean, I actually recognise his name.
February 1, 2026 at 6:20 PM
Good-byeee, Thomas Frank!

Someone has to apply the law and if she didn't you can guarantee the Repugs would be calling for her dismissal. They probably are anyway. You either agree in the correct application of the law or you don't. There's enough anarchy and chaos already. She explained why she couldn't side with the State.

My instinct tells me that Thiel is an even bigger menace than Musk and that is going something.
February 1, 2026 at 5:30 PM
So what he maybe meant in his ultimately perverse and corrupt way of thinking was that HE PERSONALLY didn't buy a property in Brazil but a Co. he's 'vaguely' acquainted with did? Would be an 'interesting' line of defence in a court of law.

"Sir, I bought a property without knowing".

Pesky emails.

To state the obvious, yet again, Mandelson is blatantly morally corrupt, bankrupt, almost certainly to a pathological degree. The only real regrets he has is in being caught out, repeatedly.
