What I remember most about the Clinton era is how it seemed the Democratic Party moved to the right in chasing Reaganism.

Because there are far too many really hateful people in the U.S.

Laughable that the govt is telling people to dress up to fly. I do remember when people did, but you also got free checked bags, meals for everyone on the flight, you didn't have to buy a good seat, and seats were bigger with more leg room. Are we going back to any of that? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Germany has "stumbling stones" (Stolperstein), small brass plaques set into sidewalks in front of the last voluntarily inhabited home of Nazi-era victims. This is reminiscent of those.
