Ding ding ding we have a winner
There’s more to the story. In 1976, the Venezuelan Government took over the oil wells of Mobil Oil, Gulf Oil and Exxon. This had been a $5B investment so the oil companies weren’t happy. Now, 🍊 wants the oil, but not just control of the wells. He wants the oilfields to belong to the United States.

Stop lying - Remove the new presidential plaques
I am writing to demand the immediate removal of the insulting, false, and disgraceful plaques you have ordered to be placed beneath portraits of past Presidents of the United States. These plaques are not history. They are not facts. They are not truth. They are petty, misleading attacks driven by personal resentment and insecurity. The White House is not your personal grievance board, and the presidency is not a platform for settling grudges. Every individual who has held the office of President—regardless of party—was elected by the American people and carried the weight of this nation on their shoulders. That service alone warrants basic respect. Reducing the legacy of past presidents to childish insults and distortions is beneath the dignity of the office you now hold. This behavior does not project strength. It projects jealousy. It does not inspire confidence. It embarrasses the nation. The White House is a symbol of continuity, democracy, and respect for the peaceful transfer of power. Your plaques undermine that tradition and replace it with spite. They tell the world that personal animosity matters more to you than the integrity of American history. Disagree with policies. Debate ideas. That is democracy. But deliberately posting lies and insults about former presidents inside the people’s house crosses a line. It degrades the office, insults the electorate who chose those leaders, and cheapens the legacy of the presidency itself. I urge you to remove these plaques immediately and restore the dignity that the office demands. The presidency is bigger than any one man’s ego. Act like it.

"The U.S. judge in his case, P. Kevin Castel, had called Mr. Hernández “a two-faced politician hungry for power” who masqueraded as an antidrug crusader while partnering with traffickers."

Who thinks this is what the Felon Trump is doing, too?

The only thing good about the Felon Trump's power grab is that one day, not too far off, a Democrat will get to wield that power -- and for the good of the people rather than self-enrichment.

She must be fired. And the business should be prosecuted for ethnic intimidation and hate crimes, which is still a thing, even under Trump.
Sad -- this is what too many white Americans really think, and now they have permission to say it.
This racist called a Somali couple the n-word. What did it get her? She's made $11,000 so far from crazy, right-wing racist morons.
This is Trump’s America.

@stephruhle.bsky.social. The reason Mike Johnson doesn't treat Republican women like equals is because that's the Republican Party. It has rejected equality as liberal, progressive, woke. Johnson, Trump and the rest don't think women should be in the House but the house.

I'll say this in response to SCOTUS' corrupt TX ruling: Dems in Maryland, Oregon, Illinois, Colorado, New York, and New Jersey are all stuck in the mud when it comes to mid-decade redistricting.

The time to act was yesterday. Move your asses, now.

CO, NY & NJ require constitutional amendments. NY & NJ can pass via legislature. CO would need a ballot initiative. Do it.
