We're getting toward the end of this, just a few drawings left, I think. I sort of ran out of steam on drawing more characters, so Klies is piping up from the kitchen where they're making hot chocolate, Indi's in the shower and Haln is fixing the heat sitch.

2025 was an interesting year for art, I did 47 main comic pages, 6 side comic pages, 7.5 drawings for the bigfoot hunt storyline so far, 22 pieces for artfight back in July and 19 pieces for Kinktober. The hardest part was picking which artfight piece to use.

Tass' eyes are bright green or cyan and Vale's are violet, both natural.

But the detective tasked with catching them may have a conflict of interest. And that conflict's name Tassera. Or could it be something else? Tass gives Klies a glare and gets up, resting her hand on Klies' shoulder. C'mere Tass says as Klies continues to grin saying you did say Vale was back last night. Tass loops her arm around Klies' shoulder turning their backs to the rest of the room with a fake smile. We're not doing this again she says.

It was Tass, she went through a couple iterations in games I played before I decided she was going to be the MC of the comic. She was a warlock and then a demon hunter, then an assassin and now here we are

A screen shot of a text document There are three official ranks (Vrilla has a more in depth system but she's a data nerd). Most Spellbreakers will reach rank 2 and stay there. Rank 1 is simple spells, most of these are elemental in nature. Warming spells, cooling spells, water purification, weak elemental attacks, etc. Rank 2 adds things like city infrastructure; elemental spells on a larger nature, running water, city lighting systems, radio broadcasts, simple healing spells, like colds, minor sprains, etc. Also cheaper security and locking wards. Rank 3 adds the big stuff, weather spells, major healing spells, top end security/locking wards, armor spells etc. Vale is a rank 3, you're not going to get much past him. Tass even called him "accomplished" back in chapter 2. Vrilla is officially a rank 3 but technically she's a rank 4 because not only can she breaks spells, she can put them back together and alter them. She can't alter a spell as someone else is casting it though. This is how she takes down wards and puts them back up as if they were never there. All of this is also partially dependent on the skill of the other mage. A clumsy or inexperience mage will take longer to cast a spell and could risk making it perceivable to a lower rank Spellbreaker.
