A third undecided, a third against. This issue is live and public opinion effectively up for grabs. In such a situation its discouraging to see the usual Democratic strategy of calling every major escalation a distraction.

My whole life I’ve thought that when I hear this famous Arthur C Clarke quote about advanced tech being indistinguishable from magic. Not, as many assume, that future tech will be miraculously powerful and transformative…,but because its like the magic you actually know: scams, tricks and cons

It was so much worse than this tho. Back then they could use a prior condition -even if cured- to deny coverage on entire organs or organ groups for any *potential* future condition.

The latest indication that they are definitely moving on to documented immigrants now

Shhh. Shhhhhhhh. Stop tipping off the cretin coalition

This post is what Civil War II should be fought over

Well maybe. It’s conceivable that limited intervention scenarios are the least likely, as Trump’s two dueling temptations are weirdly no intervention or maximal intervention (seizing and holding the country’s entire oil reserves)

Truly unprecedented levels of US public opposition on the eve of war. In 1965 61% of Americans supported sending troops to Vietnam. 72% supported the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

The nerve of this guy
November 20, 2025 at 6:13 AM
Do Senate Democrats just not understand how singularly and poisonously unpopular Schumer is? He’s not going to grow on people
November 20, 2025 at 4:02 AM
Tough line to push. It’s one thing to lie about say, GDP or trade, but everyone has direct daily experience with rising consumer prices.
November 13, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Schumer is well known to the electorate and widely hated. He’s one of the most unpopular public figures in American history. It’s not changing. Why Senate Democrats want to persist in this never ending experience of defeat and humiliation is a total mystery

I feel like, absent term limits, a bare minimum threshold for accountability should be retiring after losing a majority in a national election.
November 12, 2025 at 3:25 AM
Do you think Trump prepared to keep the shutdown going to 2026?
November 12, 2025 at 12:59 AM
There needs to be a watch list and you need to be on it
November 12, 2025 at 12:29 AM
Marge, you’re very sweet, but this guy has to go. It’s not enough to work hard anymore. We have to be willing to suffer to prevail. Trump was willing, Chuck was not and guess who won.
November 12, 2025 at 12:08 AM
I mean, the GOP should just lean on their neck. It’s evident they have no fight left and will acquiesce to anything
November 12, 2025 at 12:06 AM
Hey now, we remember and are thankful. But Europe has its own Trumps and they’re gaining ground everywhere. Until we recognize that nationalism is a transnational threat to us all we’ll never have security
November 12, 2025 at 12:00 AM
It’s imperative to signal to the electorate that we agree with them, that we do not wish to be represented by Chuck Schumer. This guy is widely hated across the political spectrum. He has a a -20 aggregate approval rating. It’s not remotely controversial to ditch him
November 11, 2025 at 10:28 PM
Hell yes
November 11, 2025 at 10:21 PM
Do you plan to just keep losing forever? Resign. Everyone hates you for selling us out. Go home, write a bitter memoir no one will read, we’ll all be better off
November 11, 2025 at 10:07 PM
Why haven’t you resigned yet?
