Made an account so I could thank the Murderbot creators for including indigenous practices/cultures/themes in their futuristic sci-fi. Thinking of sticking around for the Murderbot fandom. I am participating!
I really enjoy the illustrations Jaime Jones does for #murderbot - the linework is spectacular! So this is an ode to the style of the special illustrated edition of System Collapse. I really hope Platform Decay gets a similar JJ treatment. One Murderbot harpooned into a wall at DeltFall.

Just wondering about those transport boxes... #murderbot #murderbotTV #appleTV I based them off a box I saw in episode 1 when SecUnit is inspecting the habitat, and the habitat doors.

I really like how much Murderbot and Mensah care for each other. They are so different and so similar and they care for each other so much.

The most realistic outfit for sleeping in! The show didn't pretty her up for the viewer, they let her go to sleep as one does and the reality of it makes her all the more beautiful for being so very human.

In Cinematography interview Tobias described Mensah as the emotional anchor for the show and I agree. I loved her so much, it was so good to see a mature aged woman take co-lead role in a scifi. Noma was amazing in every scene and especially with Murderbot. Again, please #murderbot @marthawells.com

I made this account so I can thank @marthawells.com and the Murderbot show for so beautifully demonstrating scientists who are still connected to culture and community in non-western science. Felt so seen in an adjacent indigenous+scientist kind of way!
