so basically what im saying is: it's perfectly reasonable to want a widely used product that reduces harm to animals and benefits 1/3 families and if you're getting hissy over someone calmly verbalizing that want then you might in fact be the obnoxious pick-me you're trying to paint others as.

and yes, im aware there's already pet safe sidewalk salt products and i assume they work fine but to my knowledge it's only homeowners that use them and dog walking usually involves public sidewalks so unless apartment complexes and cities are using those then it's a moot point

ideally we'd have a way to prevent or reduce ice formation on sidewalks that doesn't require salt or sand at all as those can have ecological damage as well (not good in spring runoff)

Theres millions of dogs in the US alone, iirc 1/3rd of households have dogs. Responsible pet ownership means walking the dogs. this occurs on sidewalks, a place wildlife also walks. how is wanting a way to keep sidewalks clear of ice that doesn't hurt animal feet annoying or unreasonable?

i was already having a crappy day, now im just mad and worried for our nation. jfc when can we get these incompetent, dangerous, agendaed morons out of power. they are going to cause so much harm to so many people and kids if they keep getting their unjustified way
