I know I know. I just broke it in my head. I only watched the films and played a few of the recent games, so while it's implied many hundreds died, we see maybe 5 Jedi die onscreen in Order 66 and we have seen many many more than that onscreen that have survived it.

That reveal was the exact point the whole mythology tipped over the edge for me - from "thousands of Jedi died in Order 66" to "is there a single jedi who actually died in Order 66?"
