I highly recommend this. I also recommend curating who you spend time with and what you spend time on, to the extent possible. I’m getting a lot of joy out of my native plant stuff and my soil stuff and my activism stuff, and a lot of it is just the cool people and the urgency of the work.

I totally took yesterday off to spend time with a friend geeking out over native plants, rocks, birds, etc. It was sooo good and so necessary. It’s good to recharge and connect.

Yep. Same in Colorado. I think the biggest bang for the buck in terms of charging and mobility is an ebike. I have no idea how it compares mile for mile to the e car or an ice car, but I would say it also saves time (congestion) and is much more fun for local errands.
