🩺 On #WorldDiabetesDay, we raise awareness about the connection between diabetes and eye health. Diabetes can lead to serious eye conditions like diabetic retinopathy, which can affect vision and quality of life.

EYElliance & CHAI have been turning this vision into action. Together with the Ugandan Ministry of Health, we’ve advocated for the inclusion of reading glasses in Uganda’s national CHW package of services—and we’re now piloting delivery through the community health system to inform national scale.
