they found plants! today just shared a leaf fossil! the first known for the Allen Formation! And Ana shared me some photos of some cones (similar to Araucaria/Pararaucaria), also not known from the unit.

Traces, there are several in plants, published by Genise, for the unit (not exactly there)

Not all gazelles live in Africa! Goitered gazelle is native to a vast area from Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan through central Asia all the way to northwestern China and Mongolia.

Though widespread, its' population is in steep decline due to poaching and habitat loss.
