Besides teaching math to wacky adolescents, one of my other passions is playing board games. Finally made a list of my favorite board games to play when game night gets destroyed by the scheduling gods and it's just the two of you.

Students were working on systems of equations today and one of them made a mistake and exclaimed “Oopsie Poopsie” and now that is the class motto for mistakes.

During a test yesterday a student approached my desk and asked to borrow an eraser, but I was all out.
Another student began hunting through his backpack to find a spare.
He finally found one, ran over and gave it to him, and said “you got this buddy!”
I love moments of classroom kindness. 🙂
