It's improved so much in such a short time. Got annoyed with Windows in 2023, installed Pop!OS, liked it, but it was a bit old-ish, so went with Nobara and been on that ever since on 3 rigs. No going back.

They abandoned ethics when they started kicking creators off their partner program cause their server users opted out of sharing data with Discord, so even the usage stats were left out - Discord literally thought they didn't have anyone on their server. Just cause they cared about their privacy.

They really are. They've been enshittifying Discord for a bit now. I'd really hate to leave another platform I don't have the contact info for my connections for.
I guess it's gonna be back to emailing people soon, or ...nnngh, calling them.

I have a few new opinions after watching some of the AMD keynote at CES :D What an abhorrent slab of information vomit. Might even be the worst keynote I've ever seen in terms of content or lack there of.

I've had that same issue with Linux for some reason...IIRC for me it was only on Floorp browser. Maybe.

Or Billion Dollar Companies Steal Every Creative Endeavour Known To Man To Create Largest Financial Bubble Ever - sounds like something might've been investigated too? Like they had the time and money to prosecute grannies for Torrenting, but not this? Where's RIAA and Metallica now? :D

It's weird how I have a visceral memory of Flash ads with audio on websites was the point at when I started losing hope for the internet. This was in like 2004-2006 maybe?
