VERY NICE! The last time I did macro/micro was with my old Nikon f4hp with macro bellows and homemade lighting setup. Unfortunately, never able to get depth of field like this. Keep posting these beauties!

Overall, to the best of my knowledge, it's still the best and most accurate app for sound ID. Cornell does a great job.

At times, I've had a flock of birds singing or calling right in front of me, but Merlin is not picking up a thing. That same species can be heard another time at a distance and it will pick them right up. So, who knows.

I use Merlin all the time. It does go bizarre with impossible suggestions on windy days, so I never report until I actually see the bird. I've also been able to identify species I never knew I had.
