Late night at the ER vet with Ollie. Let him out last night and he came back in bleeding all over. Poor pup stepped on something and cut his paw quite bad. Had to get it stitched up and now he can’t run around for 2-weeks. Not running isn’t in Ollie’s vocabulary. Send help. Also, cone of shame. ☹️

Mrs S brought home a platter of shrimp from Costco last night. I asked “are we having company?” And she replied “nope! I just thought you’d like some shrimp for lunch tomorrow.” Today is a good lunch.

That's the exact math I've been doing. Our utility company has a heating/cooling efficiency audit where they send someone out with a thermal camera who tells you where you need more insulation etc.. And its $300. So purchasing the camera was about the same as a single audit.

So far it seems quite good for the price. I’m doing a lot more electronics work these days, and figure it’ll be helpful for diagnosing circuit issues. Also doing some insulation work on my house and it is amazing the small leaks/missed spots it can find (before the Minnesota winter kicks in)
