He holds the gaze, keeping his weapon stilled and pointed at the redhead as though expecting something further.

Then, without so much as a sound, he dismisses the sanding block and seemingly vanishes.

"The shrines of fallen Gods are meaningless to your kind when worship is not in your nature." He~

~from it, pointing the blade at the redhead as he finally regards him.

"Do you pray to any one God of this day and age?" He gives it but a moment, holding his gaze. "If you do not, then this place should hold no more grief to you than it does I."

The man doesn't appear at all interested in the redhead, his singular golden eye fixed on the katana he's sharpening from his perch in an old, dying tree.

"That would depend." He answers easily, slowly running the edge of the blade against the sanding block in his left hand until the tip falls~

"This place is abandoned, don't worry." <-- Ara saying it to 002. Perhaps they're at an abandoned shrine somewhere forgotten in Inazuma or something 🤔
