I realized that there has been many times in the past that (looking back) were not satisfying to me and I believe it was because of the lack of connection, after Covid I have been much more selective. So, thank you for putting words to how I am feeling.

Honestly, this hits the nail on the head for me these last few years. I haven't committed to saying I am actually demisexual but I've realized there needs to be some sort of connection with a person for me to fully enjoy the experience.
