Or maybe this was a deliberated choice in support of racism, disguised behind "intelectual" gibberish. You know, money and all.

Oh wow, Pantone choosing White as the colour of the year for 2026, in a climate of growing hate against coloured people. Learn to read the room, guys.

I'm so damn happy to have as policy to never ever trust any company and work as much as possible with open formats. I just received this from Wacom, saying they will discontinue their Bamboo app.

Jesus Christ what the hell how could Apple make the new iPhone this ugly?!

So I went to the barber hoping to look like David Bowie in the "I'm afraid of Americans" music video and ended up looking like Tintim.

My Galaxy Watch 4 died after a trip to the beach, damnit. Now I’m making do with my old Apple Watch and I really wish I could say that I like it but no. Compared to my old Samsungn it feels too basic.

Silly little thing about iOS 26: it identifies itself as iOS 19 to sites and apps. Curious.

Ffs Spotify, I don't want to see AI bands on my weekly recommendations 🤬

If this works as well as his others endeavours I’m pretty sure the Republican Party has nothing to worry about: futurism.com/elon-musk-de...

I know people like the “end-to-end encryption” term and all that jazz, but that’s not the only thing to care about. I mean, I don’t know what the app is doing locally, while I’m typing the message. Is it processing it? Sending a copy? Tagging it? I don’t know.

I don't get what iOS' Preview app is for. Isn't a job for the Files app to handle those files?

I grabbed an icon sheet from the web, applied a sharpen filter at 500%. This is how iOS 26 looks to me, everywhere. Man, what I did to my poor iPhone? I hope I can put the old version back.

I must say, I'm really amazed how much of an eye sore iOS 26 is. Wow.
June 12, 2025 at 12:25 PM
That's the vibe overall, like the sharpen filter was turn to 11 and applied everywhere. And that thin white line that shows on everything is really jarring.

I mean, look at this. It feels like someone oversharpened a jpg, creating artifacts all over the place. Take a closer look at the Friendly icon, where the effect is more obvious.

I couldn't resist, I had to see it myself. So I installed ios 26 on my trusty iPhone 12 mini, and I'm already annoyed.

I wonder if that black eye had anything to do with his feelings being hurt and him saying "Republicans bad!"

I'd like to say the only things the European Union are hindering from Apple and Google is innovation in ways to screw consumers, but Apple and their third-party-app-store-fee proved they're still the lead innovators in exploitative tech.

The coolest thing is that I no longer need Baikal to have a reliable calDAV and cardDAV servers, the ones supplied by Infomaniak work way better and have a really good web client.
March 18, 2025 at 5:51 PM
Migration finished! All the domains I care now lives with Infomaniak and everything works beautifully. There's a minor quirk to solve on my English version of the blog, but other than that I'm really happy with it.
