Been thinking a lot about Krakens lately… 🦑

I used to wander the beach as a child and stare up at the sky. I’d think about my place in this world, and what I’d leave behind. But a legacy means nothing if there’s no more land or sea. I still have hope, I’m ready to fight.
And I just have one question left:
Will you join me? (5)

I stand with our planet, I stand with you, and I’ll reach out my hand for you to grab onto. In the ashes of our nation, we’ll make something new. But we cannot give up yet, I refuse to. (4)

We’ll turn on each other until no one’s left, while they weaponize our ignorance till our will is long spent. It’s a revolution, and I’m not too surprised that it’s happening now, that it’s all brought to light. (3)

Spitting in the face of what science has long stated as fact. But if we’re distressed, poor, and burdened, then we won’t fight back. We won’t have the time to choose between food or the war cries. We can’t take a stand if we’re struggling just to survive. (2)
