Simenon is a wonderful writer! Maigret is a classic! Really famous here in Italy not only for the novels but for a Sixties tv series with italian actor Gino Cervi. His Maigret with moustache has become iconic. Even the art on the cover's books were done to remember the look of actor Gino Cervi.
