The thing I like about art is how deliberate it is. I love looking at textures in video games and following the thought process that led to someone deciding why something looks the way it does. Why does the room look the way it does? The wall? The character?

And yes, there are success stories, like Nexus Alpha's pilot who by all accounts seems to be a mostly adjusted individual but, crucially, she is an 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳. This is'nt a healthy industry and we have to reckon with that
