Heck, this was basically our one and only opportunity for something like a Majin Vegeta version of Shadow to occur. Iizuka has already said that he's interested in exploring that "evil" side of Shadow again, why not here?

The way it is now it feels like Shadow barely has any agency over his own story; it just sorta happens around him. We really needed a moment where Shadow was given the power and opportunity to change the timeline and save Maria but chooses not to.

I guess I just wanted more emotional struggle and higher stakes. Like what if Black Doom tried to manipulate Shadow by offering him the ability to save Maria from the ARK incident? Instead Black Doom just shows up and cackles about his grand plan, which seems very out of character honestly.
