I was looking at old pictures of my daughter and saw

New paper (doi.org/10.1016/j.da...) shows how a simple probability model (PM) outperforms a machine learning model (ML). PM is the old BG/NBD model -- the differences would be huge with CLV Ultra from Theta (thetaclv.com/clv-ultra/), which embeds key ML characteristics directly into the PM.
