Are you suggesting he would have been able to elicit any other kind of response with a different approach? All evidence points to the contrary.

How so though? Is that not fundamentally true? A ‘transwoman’ is a man (biologically male) who says he is a woman (not biologically female). Isn’t what is being debated the definition of ‘woman’ and whether it is biologically or socially defined?
