paywall-ed or free, it is as dehumanizing one way or another... :(
They are not solving anything, just trying to reduce their electricity bill at most...

in any case, my point is that pay walling this does not solve any moral issue it has been creating on that platform

What bubble? you cannot @ grok anymore and tell it to edit a photo of a child or a woman unless you pay, which is what that article says exactly too...

It’s actually much better documentation and clearer code comments than a single person could write, since it explains things from an objective perspective that’s easier for others to understand
and yeah, vibe coding is not gonna fly anywhere... especially on an R&D team

and it is actually been quite productive since no one, not even interns, want to sit in front of the monitor to write code comments for days.

I cannot speak for the rest of the company, but for my team "forcing" is an overstatement. We are encourage to use it and discuss among peers and company to see what it does well and what doesn't do well. I personally only use it for documentation, comments, variable names, and member fields layouts

"write-only code, code that straight up doesn't work pushed into prod, and funny little vulnerabilities and bugs that get found out only when they break havoc"
Welcome to software engineering, with or without AI😂
Responsible AI comes with responsible human and engineers

I believe in AI, and I have no problem with the technology itself—I even studied machine learning in grad school. What I do have a serious issue with is irresponsible AI, because it feels like humanity is moving in reverse
