Finally, this one for @mourreon.pmd.social! I think I was a little more successful with making a silhouette and sticking to it here, though I struggled a bit especially with the head shape.

I didn't get a full timelapse for this one for @bulbrecker.bsky.social unfortunately, but I got the Yamper base down here. I also wanted to draw at least one other pokemon for the scene, but I was struggling and 16x16 just isn't quite my thing yet.

This was for MissLeafea! I think it's a bit of a step back on shading, but not too much. There's a lot of little details that I'm pretty proud of though!

I watched a pixel artist who does stuff similar to me and they just start with the entire silhouette and- wough- that's super intimidating even though, like, I think I would benefit from getting comfortable also doing that.

This was for UniPinkWolf on artfight, I don't think she's on bluesky tho. I'm also quite familiar with drawing Glameow! (I still often get lost in the way I draw the tail tho.) I'm always forgetting the small details tho, so I wrote "whiskers!" to remind me to absolutely not forget:

I like to think I can draw Meowstic pretty well now! They're a favorite pokemon of mine and @raineoushine.bsky.social's is a particularly good Meowstic design; so it was really fun for me to do!

Happy I started over on this one; I think it turned out real nice! I'm definitely improving at drawing quadrupeds, I think. Just need to keep up and ease into a bunch of different poses and stuff. Maybe I can reuse this thing sometime:

This one was fraught to the point that I basically drew 3 Vulpix and I also forgot to record some stuff and eventually I settled on trying to somewhat mimic some of @wooled.bsky.social's Vulpixes for the face instead of going for something more gen 1.
