Where is the outpouring of grief for our kids? If I were organising this protest, I’d tell Minns: we won’t march to the Opera House if you light up the sails in the colours of the Palestinian flag. Fair compromise, no? But he won’t do it, because he supports genocide.

Now, two years later, on (grossly underestimated) official numbers, 18,000 children have been killed by Israel. That’s more than 10x the number of dead CHILDREN killed compared to “the most deadly attack on Jews since the Holocaust”

Let me remind you that the idea of an Opera House rally was only considered in 2023 in response to Minns deciding to light up the sails in genocide colours. It was this preposterous action that provoked the ugly scenes we saw at that protest.

Palestine Action Group has lost the legal challenge over this Sunday’s march. This does not mean the march is prohibited — it means that it will not have immunity for eg. obstructing traffic.

They should march to the Opera House anyway. Minns made it a symbol, so we should too.

Totally outrageous behaviour from ACU. Everyone, I mean *everyone* knows that AI-detection software is not accurate and that certain kinds of writing (particularly technical writing) can generate false positives. They ruined this woman's life.

Outrageous. WSU and Newcastle advertised accredited degrees that weren't accredited. I wonder if our universities might be better run if they spent more time administering their courses and less time trying to persecute support for Palestine.

Our politicians have accepted that Palestinian lives are worthless, so an infinite number of us can be butchered. Two years on, they still act as though there is no greater tragedy in the modern age than October 7, when much worse, on a much larger scale, has been done to Gaza.

In every meeting with the government, we've stressed that statements that imply Jewish lives matter more than Palestinian lives are likely to inflame tension and spur on radicalisation. Why are 1200 lives more valuable than 60,000 (the official count) or 500,000 (the true count)?

American Jews are much more progressive on the whole than Australian Jews, but this number is still much higher than Israel would like you to believe. Israel’s propaganda efforts claim that it acts on behalf of all Jews and all Jews, except a minority of self-haters, support it.
