Why are you being rude? This is a real person you're speaking to who is trying to do something useful in a catastrophic situation. If you want a translation guide from a native Spanish speaker, why don't you hire one yourself instead of insulting a stranger?

Jesus. See, I personally like to watch a bleak horror when I'm feeling down - I guess the familiarity is comforting? But even for me, that's a rough choice

To be fair, I'm pretty sure he meant his comment to be disparaging of transphobes, not trans people, and just phrased it badly. I can't tell what the hell he actually meant to say, but he seems normal based on the rest of his profile. I wish he would have just explained that instead of going nuts.

Hey now, no one is telling you you're not *allowed* to be a weird creep. You can do whatever you want! But if you're gonna be a weird creep, people are probably going to point it out to you. You're replying in public on someone else's post, man, that's kind of how this works.

What horror movie or movies would you recommend to my friend who is interested in horror, but has a hard time with bleak, depressing endings? (Bittersweet is fine, it's "all doom and gloom" he struggles with)

I asked why they think he does it, and they asked how I respond. "I usually like, turn him to face his dish and gently direct his head toward his food."
"Well, he's obviously a clingy guy [understatement]. Maybe he's doing it for attention."
So now I can't even be mad because that's sweet 🙄

He started doing it about a year ago when I moved into my new house, so they think something about the new environment triggered him deciding to act like a dumbass. His hearing and vision are perfect; no neurological symptoms. Other than acting like a brat, he aced his checkup with flying colors

I just loved newspaper comics as a kid. Three or four panels to execute a gag, and then move on. It was an easily digestible, not particularly challenging introduction to comics as an art form

I'm a respectable-looking, middle class white woman who has only interacted with police in contexts where I wasn't suspected of a crime, and the absolute BEST a cop has ever treated me has been with naked condescension and contempt. Usually, they act like angry, jackbooted thugs. For no reason!
