Miller appears to want trump to invoke the Insurrection Act. Recently, Miller was asked directly if he’s discussed the idea with trump, and he evaded the question. Miller, a manipulator lurking furtively behind the despot’s throne, uses the word “insurrection” to lodge it deep in trump’s brainstem .

trump hates to be the object of humor. He understands that humor can be a more powerful antidote to tyranny than any other form of criticism. It's the reason why he's gone after comedians (and any of his perceived "political enemies" that he holds a grudge against).

Miller went further, claiming that the president has “plenary authority,” that is, complete, unchecked power, to use the military to put down an insurrection. Miller stopped talking, oddly, in midsentence after making that claim, leaving this exception to the rule of law his final phrase.
