If you’re young, talented, and ambitious, why on earth would you a career in the fed gov at this point?Knowing that this kind of career instability is possible? Elon damaging agencies like a toddler knocking over legos is going to hurt recruitment for a generation. The non-partisan agency is dead.

Everyone has heard the saying “it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.”

DEI attempts to broaden the applicant pool beyond those who “know someone” to find those are in fact the most qualified — those who know the most things.

It does the exact opposite of what its critics claim.
