Thumping fall in Tesla sales in Jan across Europe (EU +Efta + UK)… down 45%, to 9,945 from 18k last Jan. In EU alone halved to 7,500… at the same time EV sales in general up 37%.

Shares down 10%.

Overtaken by JLR and Mazda. And BYD in UK.

6/ it is clear from emails released to court that motivation behind Open AI, 9 years ago was to prevent “Demis” ie Deepmind ie Google to, with its vast capital and data, achieving “AGI dictatorship” … other emails obsessed with trumping counteroffers from Google for top AI talent …

5/ now fast forward to the court case Elon Musk has lodged against Open AI and then go back in time to the internal founder emails now publicly released as part of it, given context of Nobel prize-winner above.

Bottom line -one pretty chilling phrase jumps out, the concept of

“AGI dictatorship”
