Watching @sineadhannacraic.bsky.social 's 1st year anniversary vlog on Youtube.
They're feeding crows in their local cemetery & it's lovely!
Now though; Ivy-cat is trying to hunt the crows through the TV screen 🤦🏻‍♀️
Luckily she's a housecat - so no irl crows will be harmed 😅

Crochetting whilst listening to the rain, cuddling the cats & watching @johnnyohnny.bsky.social playing Winter Burrow on stream. Extremely cozy today.
Winter Burrow was one of my favorite games of 2025 ><

2 days ago, I hadn't heard of the game 'Blue Prince'.
Then Jane from @outsidexbox.bsky.social named it her game of the year...now this is my life:

I agree with all this — sick leave is essential to a healthy society. While we’re working on that, though, we need to make it a general norm that if you MUST be around others while sick, you wear a mask (preferably a good one).
3/ Isolation is important but only works if people can afford it. Many people simply can’t stay home when sick. Without meaningful sick pay, asking people to isolate is unrealistic. Better financial support is essential to reduce transmission.

So have I seen Passion and Vanity stamping the living magnanimous earth, but the earth did not alter her tides and her seasons for that.

I'm not good enough at being a human to get a passing grade - could I apply to be a cat or something instead? #ActuallyAutistic

Small selection of today's finds :)
Camera-phone becoming less & less functional :/ but today was more about finally getting out of the house!
I'd also hoped to see the rosy earthstars - I had a feeling they'd be out - & I'm so happy that I found them 🙂🩷🍄

October was an amazing month of reads for me - with more than one 'Book of the Year' contender!
Robert Jackson Bennett is a new favorite author for sure :)
Will be interesting to compare this to November...where I've been in more of a readig slump.

Finally fixed the Alexa in our bedroom - so it can return to its life purpose.
(Playing Phil Colins' 'Dance into the Light' on repeat until I get out of bed).

Having a ~*day~* :|
Took 3 hours to convince myself to shower...so starting work very late.
Now trying to avoid having a melt-down over laundry.

On the executive function struggle bus again.
It's like my brain ran out of energy years ago, it coped with a lot and now it just can't anymore.
Massive guilt as can't force my brain to work.
Also; waiting to hear back about something important and I can't help but feel it's not going to go my way.

Any #CPTSD folks got advice on getting shit done?
Over a decade into my sympathetic nervous system shutting me down every time I so much as try to write an email or leave the house...& I'd quite like to get my life back.

What are fungi except nature's psychopomps? Leading the dead and discarded along their proper path, a Samsaric decomposition...Valhalla in decay.

Sometimes the reference pics I send my group of my D&D characters are hours of carefully curated images arranged into a beautiful mood board.

Sometimes they're pure shitposts.
Yohko gets both 😅 (Yuan'Ti Sorceror).

Still in single-digit margins!

Horribly, we’ve found that campaigning to bring in new or occasional-voters is key to building a lead when a match has stayed this close for this long.

A simpler solution: stop making tenure a reward (that's what promotions are), and make it the default for everyone who needs professional autonomy to do their job. I'm fine with a probationary period, but tenure isn't something to earn; it's something institutions should stop withholding.
It’s Time to Rethink the Academic Tenure Process
