Yeah the way you do this is by killing it at the crib, when the idea for doing a feature about this is being thrown around.

Biggest obstacle would be that the NEX is subs based and Nintendo is loathe to devalue their games like that.
December 19, 2025 at 3:26 PM
Well that crisis is about to hit a whole lot more than consoles with this RAM AI nonsense. The other issue is you just can’t stay on the older hardware forever.

I do think their own NEX type system is at least something worth internally researching. A Mario Party “Kinect” would be quite popular.
December 19, 2025 at 3:24 PM
Only way would be to make a 2nd ultra cheap system like the NEX that has the same type of games but with Nintendo characters to build that franchise love and use it to upsell them on Switch 2.
December 19, 2025 at 3:15 PM
That’s what I’m saying. There is no way for them to do do both and address both markets with the same device. The negatives outweigh the positives for such a move.
December 19, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Then it would be: “What is the point of getting the new Switch?”
December 19, 2025 at 3:11 PM
Yes and you would be making a huge tradeoff by making it less appealing to one group to chase another. You make it substantially less capable and you lose a lot of the ports/same day releases that make the system appealing (play current gen games portable).
December 19, 2025 at 3:09 PM
That problem is tied to why the Switch 2 costs what it costs. All this stuff is just more expensive to make now. They already went very cheap on the process node used for the SoC by going Samsung 8nm, also only having 256GB of storage.
December 19, 2025 at 3:04 PM
Not sure how they are supposed to address that. Cost wise it was not feasible to do a $250-300 Switch 2 that had the necessary hardware jump.

Burrow would reject going to the Raiders too

When he retired he was considered a legendary entertainment biz CEO by those in that industry and he came back to ruin his reputation as he’s totally washed
December 12, 2025 at 11:54 PM
I first read it as OpenAI paying them 1 billion… Because why would I think it was the other way around?

Wisconsin and Washington leading the league on stalking you ex’s IG page
December 10, 2025 at 3:27 PM
Lions also an example of why you need to know to go for it when you have the best roster and make that one big trade to fortify your weakness, and they never did. Can’t expect your roster to be perpetually tier 1.

The intro made me think of how Equalizer 2 climax took me out of the movie because they are supposed to be in this raging storm but no one is acting like they would if strong wind and rain were blasting them in the face, as that’s an instinctual body reaction you can’t really simulate well
December 3, 2025 at 11:33 PM
The Wilfs were probably never allowing them to trade Kirk/Hunter/Smith after the 1-3 start anyway and embrace the tank opportunity and they are paying for it dearly now
December 2, 2025 at 3:03 AM
I’m not watching a random Giants/Pats game where the Giants stink. I’m not that level of football sicko.
December 2, 2025 at 2:55 AM
Going to forever bother me that the Vikings were right about him too but wouldn’t do what was necessary to get him after starting 1-3 and Jefferson getting hurt in 2023.
December 2, 2025 at 2:36 AM
Seemingly every week there is some new story about some pathetic college admin or employer caving in to the most disingenuous right wing bullshit. Only way to address this is to tell TP to pound sand to render their tactic ineffective; not argue about whether the grading was slightly too harsh.
December 1, 2025 at 8:42 PM
Yeah it’s comical to argue that it has “persuasive force” because you thought it was merely a super shitty paper and it got graded like a super duper shitty one. We know from the history of TP and the people fired for Kirk what the game is here.

Even if you could install SteamOS, it wouldn’t be the same tailored experience that comes with the Valve made device.

Would be cool if they made a premium Steam Machine version but with RAM/NAND prices skyrocketing the GabeCube might be too expensive as is.
December 1, 2025 at 2:06 PM
This highlights my problem with Xbox “Magnus” and Steam Machine. One has, presumably, the level of hardware I’d want but comes with software you don’t trust at all. The Steam Machine has the software you want but the hardware is well below where I’d personally want it to be.

That got away from what? Lying to yourself he’s the one? We all know how having Bo Nix works out in the end.

Fire KoC has picked up a lot of steam lately. Those guys are still getting open he can’t make the throw too.
November 24, 2025 at 1:52 PM
Everyone is horrible at evaluating QBs. Bill Walsh thought Jim Drunkenmiller was the next guy after Montana & Young. This same team was trying to trade everything for Maye (because they were unwilling to do what was necessary to get a top 3 pick when they started 1-3 and Jefferson got hurt)
