For anyone who thought that @iracing.bsky.social is difficult, it's even more difficult while inebriated. I have had a few wee cans of apple cider and I'm feeling it. I can't imagine driving a real car while tipsy like this, even just a sim car is enough. Don't drink and drive. Just don't.

Yesterday's iRacing races were among the best races I've ever had. Only one instance of car contact in the race I finished 11th, and that was just a sore loser. Just race clean, guys. It's worth it. P.S., I really need to work on my iRating but it's going in the right direction.

As a racing driver, I always thought that my strength was consistency but my weakness was pace. I have the race craft, the talent, the instinct, and the reflexes to be able to gain positions in the race but qualifying and outright race pace has always been a weak spot. 1/x

This wee car is put away for the winter after a complete fiasco where the battery tender died and so did the battery. I had to gently push it with my other car to get it back in the driveway 🤣

This series - with LMP3 and GT4 cars - is so fun. It's pure chaos.

Humans are persistence hunters. If you can't make a clean pass against a fellow racing driver, wait another lap. You don't have to do a stupid lunge divebomb. Put yourself in their mirrors. Pressure them.
