We have had to shut the top floor of Falkirk library at the last minute this evening due to staff illness. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Libraries are closed between Christmas and New Year. As we're normally closed on Wednesdays this means the final day we'll see you this year is Tuesday 23rd December. Libraries close as at 5pm on Tuesday, Slamannan Library at 2pm.

There are some major groundworks going on outside Slamannan library until January 2026. Parking is restricted but the library remains open and there is fencing allowing access to the library and chemist.

Power has been restored at Meadowbank library
We are getting reports of a major power cut across the FK2 area. Meadowbank library is currently without power but is still open to the public. There is no computer access or WiFi available so the services are limited. Please bear with staff and we will keep you posted about any developments.

You supply the imagination, we'll supply the LEGO! Library clubs happen monthly and you'll find fun at Bo'ness, Falkirk and Larbert this Saturday. 👷♀️🧱

Parking may be disrupted at Bonnybridge Library on Thursday 4th Sept to enable works to Bonnybridge Community Centre to progress safely. The Library will be open as usual.
