Let me actually say that it's not that people don't want an education, it's that it's extraordinarily expensive. People go into literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt sometimes to get an education, depending on what degree they want. Even then, it's not guaranteed to help you get a job.

No, I genuinely don't believe most people are stupid. A lot of it is older people being stubborn and voting what they've voted their entire life. People just aren't willing to learn a lot of the time. Our country is divided, left v right, there's not much you can do to fix that either.

Sorry, got a bit ahead of myself, I need to research more into this honestly. I'm at work right now so my thoughts are a bit everywhere, plus with the current state of things politically my minds a bit muddled. I don't have a great memory in the first place. I'll continue this conversation after.

The hostages they did have were treated with kindness. They actually made a cake with the small amount of resources they did have. It was one of their birthdays. There's videos of the hostages after they were released saying how kind they were treated.

I think your government is lying to you, just like my government is lying to me. Hamas doesn't actually exist as far as I'm aware, they were constantly telling Palestinians to evacuate to specific areas then bombing where they said they would be safe.

They keep the majority of the population uneducated. It's horrible, genuinely. They're taking over the media so we don't see how other countries behave. They are trying to control the narrative. If I could leave the US I would in a heartbeat. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck so we can't do shit.

Even before they send it to other countries I'd rather them actually help the people in the country that provide the taxes. Universal health care, the homeless issue, the economy, the large wealth gap between the normal people and the 1%, to name a few.

Instead of it going to Israel to ruin more completely innocent lives, and the beautiful culture that was there. I would rather it go to Palestine to help them rebuild what Israel and American money did to them. If you look up what it looks like right now they have nothing left.
