"There I was standing. In the middle of my chamber. The ceiling had collapsed a long time ago, water pouring on my ceramic face. The structure is at the brink of collapsing for good. Strange shadows were dancing at the floor of the chamber, yet I did not dare to look up at their source. The Rot was just one room away from getting me. Well, there's not much of "me" left anyway, just a broken puppet that can't even walk away. I was trying to shut down that small part of my systems that was yet untouched. I did not want to experience it in my sane mind. The sweet embrace of oblivion... Then...Then it happened. A slugcat appeared as if out of nowhere. Just standing there...I stopped believing in silly Benefactors' Gods and other things...However, that slugcat...It had a body of a Demigod. straight out of legends and tales. It looked at me...A wide warm grin appeared on its face. I couldn't resist, instantly fell in mad love. Those blue eyes...Like two oceans of wisdom and unfair trials. It produced The Egg out of its chest and raised it before my face as if it was on old polaroid They used to...use? My memory is failing me at an alarming rate. But I will never forget the scug before me. I am sure of it. It asked the question, but before I could even attempt to produce a sound, a large piece of ceiling collapsed on my frail puppet-like body. I've never met death, and never regained consciousness. In my restless dreams I keep seeing this figure. I even made a mental image of it. Uploading it into a global group right now. It will be my last message. The Rot has consumed my mind and my body. It will be my last farewell. Stay safe out there, fellow iterators. " - END COMMUNICATION -
