and if the track was pre-recorded? it’s still a novel thing to fans, hearing sax solos where there previously weren’t. idk. i’d be a little disappointed.

i would think it matters for fans, playing live vs. pretend-playing with a backing track. but maybe it doesn’t matter, people are there to see their favorite band members not just play music but interact w/ each other and perhaps the audience.
