I… kinda want to see you draw this zoomed out from another angle to see what silly thing he is sitting on to get the necessary height for doing this with a 9 foot 6 inch tall lady…🤣
Some person(s) came through the culdesac last night and smashed everyone’s pumpkins and solar lights and whatever other breakable stuff was near the curbside. My teenage daughter is about to turn into Batman over it. 🤣
Thanks! It took 5 days of printing tiles, probably about the same to paint, and then I enlisted my wife to make the frame out of foamcore and told her she couldn’t tell the other players 😆 This is better for seeing detail. Some of the water tiles need to be repainted to match better at some point.

My players face the Boss of The Black Veins of the Mad Dwarf dungeon tonight (and they may choose to go after the Loot Goblin of the Dungeon first.) They’ve done better than expected by the bookies at the Obsidian Gate Casino and are putting on quite a show for everyone watching on CabalVision.
I have like 60 RPGs down in my collection (one of the benefits(?) of being an old)… there really is something for everyone! What kind of game would be your ideal fit? The next one that will land on my doorstep is Zephyr, which I have heard described as a “cozy, community focused anarchist RPG” 😄
Agreed. The group I run games for occasionally has people that can’t make it at the last second and inevitably someone at the table will float the idea of just spending the evening making Traveller characters. 🤣 It’s a great character creation system.
Having never seen or heard of an RPG before I assumed that there was some rule I didn’t know or strategy I failed at. Once I got home I asked my mom for the game, intending to scour it for winning strategies… Imagine my surprise when I dug through The Red Box & worked out what the game ACTUALLY was.
1986. Mom sent me to visit my dad when I was 10. He was planning something for a weird game with a red rulebook. I asked him about it & he helped me make a character. Then he ran a game. I got a little ways into the dungeon, he looked at the clock, then he told me that my torch went out & I died.
