I'm also quite sure that Jesus Christ was arrested and executed by the "legal authority" of the Romans. And the American founders explicitly rejected Romans 13 (the "Divine Right of Kings") when they rebelled against King George III. So sinners one and all? She can put her little book away now.

They're trying to make the 250th all about Christianity. The government-endorsed "America Prays" initiative is proof that dominion theology has become mainstream in the US.
