If there is one thing I've learned about Runescape it's to always treat the day AFTER the update as the actual release

It's still limiting and not ideal but it can be healthier than controller gripping (in my experience) as long as you're gentle and try and avoid being too intense with your movement

Speaking from experience a controller for games like 14 will not help at all

It can be better to actually learn to use the more intensive controls with your other hand. For me I've made it so my right hand (bad hand) only does movement with arrow keys, my other hand does the heavy lifting
