I was there the moment she was born, and through all of her 5½ years. Goblin, a Russian blue, sitting on a mattress, next to pillows, his face curled forward onto the mattressin front of him. He fell asleep while cleaning his stomach. Goblin is Kalisto's father. He came to us crying for help. He was emaciated and dehydrated. We took him in, fed and watered him, cleaned him up, and by that night, he had claimed me as his mommy. He likes his mama, but I'm his person. Kalisto, a chocolate lynx point, sleeping, lying away from the camera, with her head turned back toward the camera with a blep. Kalisto is Kali Ma's and Goblin's daughter. She and her littermates were all breach births, that was a very difficult labor for Kali Ma and requireda lot of hands on help. But all babies and mom came through healthy, and we've had the joy of this wonderful girl for 3½ years.

The emailing was supposed to start at 5k people, but I couldn't wait & wanted to test out its effectiveness. But now the emailing will definitely be starting at 5k after having tested this. I want to make sure that when it starts there's absolutely no chance it can fail so that morale doesn't drop.

Miiriya is originally an app where you can shop Black Owned Businesses on one app- all the businesses on the app are Black Owned. My dream has always been to find a way to help the entire community, not just businesses, so I built a Mutual Aid section on the app, it raised $150,000+ for 160+ people in a very short time. With more and more people needing help I thought of this $1 email list, believing that since we all have $1 just laying around, even if it's in the form of nickels and quarters in our sofa, we can afford to give $1 to someone, and our collective $1 as a people can change someone's life and put them back on track. The Mutual Aid page was created to help those struggling in the community with the Black Dollar, in the way that the Black Panthers used to set up programs that helped the community. The mutual aid page we created works differently than other mutual aid systems, instead of having a platform where everyone's mutual aid is posted simultaneously like other platforms, the Miiriya Mutual Aid system works by posting 1-3 people and making sure they reach their goal and nothing past their goal. You may ask yourself "if people want to give more to one person why not let them?", the system we created ensures two things, it makes sure someone's goal is always met by hyperfocusing on it instead of having a platform full of campaigns that don't reach their goals where the donations are scattered to the point only a few dollars reach each campaign, and it makes sure that when someone reaches their goal, any extra money starts going straight to the next person who needs help. If someone only needs $700 and you make them reach $6000, that could've been $5300 that helped 10-30 other people. So we created an automated list that makes sure everyone reaches their exact goal and switches out to the next people who need help so everyone wins. The more we grow the faster we help people and the more people we can help. Please participate if you can, with the 10,000-500,000 people our posts reach, your $1 accumulated can go a very long way to help people in the community. Miiriya is an app where you can shop Black Owned Businesses in one place conveniently. It's like Amazon but all the products/businesses are Black Owned. If you want your money to circulate within the community, download the app and shop there. If you're a Black Owned Business register on the app so the options grow and have the community shop with you increasing your success significantly. There's also a map on Miiriya that lets anyone add physical Black Owned Businesses they know to the map so everyone can check and know in-real-life locations to shop, if we all participate this can grow. There's also a Bartering system where the community can trade services/items, and a Mutual Aid section to help those struggling in the community, or get help. The app is in the caption.

I created an Email List that’s gathering 10k people who pledge to give just $1 to people struggling in the Black Community. When the list grew to 2k I tested it with a Black Woman who lost her job & struggled w/ past due bills; I sent out 1 email, & with their $1 they quickly raised her $950 goal.
